Deepen your connection to ʻāina through the practice of lāʻau lapaʻau—the traditional Hawaiian use of plants for care and well-being.
Guided by our knowledgeable staff, you’ll explore the landscape, learn about the cultural relationships with native and Polynesian-introduced plants, and take part in making your own small batch of essential oil to bring home. This hands-on experience honors the ʻike (knowledge) passed down through generations and invites you to engage with the land in a meaningful way.
