Explore this timeless place with a small group as the interwoven stories of Hawaiian culture, biodiversity, and stewardship come to life.
Explore this timeless place with a small group as the interwoven stories of Hawaiian culture, biodiversity, and stewardship unfold during your visit. As you enjoy legends that abound about this ancient valley, you’ll see the features that inspired them. A guided tour offers you a deeper understanding of the delicate balance of the ecosystem in both ancient and modern times, and how today’s stewardship of the land is modeled after the traditional practices of our ancestors. Our docents are knowledgeable, enjoy ‘talking story’, and are passionate about sharing this living Hawaiian landscape.
Online reservation is required for all visitors attending our guided tour. No walk-ins available for guided tours. If you are driving to the Garden, please add a parking space to your reservation.
Please note that due to the nature of the tour, we kindly request that participants be 13 years of age or older. If you are a Family or Supporting member interested in including children under 12, please contact us at 808-826-1668 ext.3 or limahuli@ntbg.org.
