National Tropical Botanical Garden will host an exhibition of Remains of a Rainbow: Rare Plants and Animals of Hawaii by photographers David Liittschwager and Susan Middleton. The photographs will be on display at the NTBG Botanical Research Center located at 3530 Papalina Road in Kalaheo HI, Parking Lot A, weekdays from September 27 through November 30, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. excluding Veterans Day and the Thanksgiving Holiday (November 10th, 23rd and 24th).

For visitors unable to view the exhibition during the week, Remains of a Rainbow will be open on Saturday, October 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Arrestingly beautiful, these iconic images of threatened and endangered species have captured the attention of viewers worldwide. Liittschwager and Middleton began with a desire to introduce rare species to people who otherwise would not come into contact with them. This collection of photographs encompasses the spectacular array of life forms endemic to the Hawaiian Islands and was a featured exhibit at the 2016 IUCN World Conservation Congress.

Admission to the exhibition is free with a suggested donation of $10.
