Join us to honor and Queen Emma’s birthday on January 2^nd, 2020 through an exclusive experience never offered before by the National Tropical Botanical Garden.

Tour Allerton Garden, formerly a retreat for Hawaiian royalty, and view Queen Emma’s cottage and a special one-day exhibit of her personal belongings while learning about the beloved Queen Emma from the Daughters of Hawaii. This unique experience includes:

• A tour of Allerton Garden
• A farm to table dinner on the lanai* at the Allerton House at Lawai Kai Bay
  • Multiple dishes with locally sourced produce and Hawaiian flavors
  • Wine and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Set under the sky on the lanai (weather permitting)
• Special viewing of Queen Emma’s place settings of China, tea cup, gold flatware, napkin, journal, and more – on special loan from Queen Emma’s Summer Palace and never before made available for viewing on Kauai
• Access into Queen Emma’s cottage – located at Lawai Kai Bay
• Interpretation of Queen Emma’s items and her story living in Lawai Ahupua‘a, and
