“Motainai” is a Japanese word that means “what a waste!” and this class is how to rescue something wasteful, and breathe new life into it. Art supplies are often expensive, but using discarded materials is economical, and can offer incredible inspiration. If you are the kind of artist who “freezes” when looking at a white canvas, this will be a freeing class. We will create art using “found” elements, have fun with exploration, and temper the overriding desire to make things look real. For ages 7+ and children must be accompanied by an adult.

Rates are $10 for NTBG Members, $20 for non-members
