Members-Only Book and Plant Sale at The Kampong

Friday, November 15, 2019 – 6:00pm to 8:00pm

We are pleased to announce our second annual Members-only Book and Plant Sale on Friday, November 15, featuring a wide range of books from Dr. David Fairchild’s granddaughter, Helene Pancoast’s private collection, as well as some exceptional rare volumes from Catherine Sweeney’s library. Among the rare books are original copies of Paxton’s Flower Garden (ca.1852) as well as botanical exploration volumes from the 1863 Speke and Grant Expedition to the Nile. Our librarian has chosen titles to suit every need and budget. Naturally, we will have exceptional plants for sale as well! Only collectors’ species have been chosen for the exceptional gardener.

The event will begin at 6 pm with wine and light bites being served throughout the sale. This is a members-only event. If you would like to renew your membership or want to become a member you may do so by calling 305-442-7169 ext. 100 or 103.
