Join us at The Kampong on Saturday May 11 for a botanical workshop. This workshop will focus on building “floral” arrangements Ikebana style using excess/dried foliage found around The Kampong property. The first part of the workshop would involve a guided walk through the garden along with a conversation about mindful/sustainable botanical design. We will then allow participants to clip a few leaves from various plants within the garden. The second part of the workshop will consist of a class reviewing the basics of the Japanese art form of ikebana. Each participant will receive a pin holder and a vessel to assemble their own ikebana arrangement to take home. All ages welcome
