Join us on April 18th, 2019 for our monthly lecture series with theater director, author, paper collage artist, and educator, Alejandra Bunster-Elsesser.

Topic: Fairytales from Historic Florida.
An inspiring way of introducing content on Miami’s history and nature, and an invitation to use Creativity in Education.
We are all creative, we all have imagination. Are we cultivating creativity and acknowledging different types of intelligence in education? Alejandra Bunster will present Fairytales From Historic Florida, a book series that includes exercises in creative expression to develop creativity, as well as educational facts on South Florida’s history and nature, discussing the importance of developing our imagination through education.

Biography: Alejandra Bunster-Elsesser

Alejandra Bunster-Elsesser is a theater director, author, paper collage artist, and educator. Her love for traveling, nature, and the cultures of the world has taken her across all continents (except Antarctica…for the moment) both for work and for self-discovery. Author of Un Taller de Teatro, commissioned and pioneered by the Chilean Ministry of Education to add Creative Expression to the school curriculum, she is a firm believer that everyone should experience the joy of discovering and expressing their own creative potential. She lived in Paris for many years where she studied History and Theater at Université Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris III . She works at Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart as a curriculum specialist on Creative Expression and Creativity in Education. She resides with her family in Miami, Florida.

The event will begin at 6:30 pm with wine and light bites. The lecture will begin promptly at 7:00 pm.
