Eden reimagines The Kampong as David Fairchild’s home brought into the present through Paloma Teppa’s artistic vision and distinctly feminine, regenerative sensibility. Honoring the pioneering botanist and plant explorer who introduced thousands of plants from around the world to the United States, the exhibition activates each room with botanical installations, sculptural works, natural materials, and intimate traces of daily life.
A MULTISENSORY WORLD Guided by the belief that beauty can be created with nature rather than at its expense, Eden unfolds through scent, taste, sound, fire, water, poetry, and botanical elixirs. Contributions from a community of women artists and makers bring Fairchild’s legacy into dialogue with contemporary creativity, shaping the historic home into a place of wonder, introspection, and renewed connection with the natural world.
