Connecting with the Color Blue Workshop 1: Indigo Shibori

In this introductory Indigo workshop, participants will learn about the origins and processing of Indigo while experimenting with Shibori, a Japanese resist dyeing technique. This traditional craft involves folding, twisting, stitching, and binding cloth to create patterns over fabrics. Each attendee will manipulate and Indigo dye a cotton bandana using this method.

By the end of the workshop, we will leave with a unique textile that conveys beauty, history and sustainability.
