Join the Master Gardeners from the UF/IFAS Extension Team to learn proper plant recommendations and instructions on how to create vital green features known as “buffer zones” to border and protect Florida’s water bodies. Take an extensive look at freshwater and saltwater plants that will thrive in these features, as well as how to install and properly care for them. Then, explore the grounds of The Kampong to see how we are working to protect and preserve our own shoreline along Biscayne Bay.
