The Breadfruit Institute presents six one-day workshops on regenerating Hawaii’s agricultural lands through breadfruit agroforestry. Growers, processors, sellers, chefs/restaurateurs, consumers, educators, policy makers, and others interested in regenerating breadfruit are encouraged to attend.
Workshop topics include Regenerative Organic Agroforestry, breadfruit varieties, companion crops for agroforestry, crop spacing and management, breadfruit tree care, products and commercial markets and economic planning. Workshop presenters include Diane Ragone and Noel Dickinson (Breadfruit Institute), Craig Elevitch (Agroforestry Net), Heidi Bornhorst (Pruning for Productivity), and local presenters from each island.
