An exploration of the uses and cultivation practices of some tropical plants and the stories that instill responsibility and action
Bio: Evelyn Block
A Miami native, Evelyn Block has chosen to focus her work and research around the stories and cultivation of food and medicine plants from all over the world. She has worked with various communities in the United States in an effort to better understand cultivation methods, crop significance, and the varying approaches to planetary and personal well-being. Evelyn Block is currently installing and maintaining Fairchild’s new demonstration “Food Plot.” Filled with culinary and medicinal plants of the subtropics, the plot serves as an example of the diverse plant options available to the South Florida grower.
