ʻŌhiʻa Love Fest is more than an event — it’s a celebration of our relationship with the ʻāina and with one another. Hosted by Limahuli Garden & Preserve, in partnership with the Kauai Invasive Species Committee (KISC), this day invites you to learn how our actions can help care for Hawaiʻi’s unique ecosystems, connect with local conservation partners, and enjoy native plants, art, food, and music — all rooted in the spirit of aloha ʻāina!
Take home your favorite native plants and help support local ecosystems!
Join free, inspiring presentations throughout the day — no registration required. See the list of speakers and the full schedule below.
Explore conservation and community booths, meet local organizations, and shop from talented local vendors.
Find the list of participating groups and vendors below.
Visit the Conservation Booths and spin the wheel for a chance to win great prizes — including native plants and Limahuli-exclusive items!
Pick up your “Spin the Wheel Passport” at the welcome table and collect six stickers from the Conservation Booths to play.
Adopt a free ʻōhiʻa through our Grow Aloha program! This special adoption replaces our usual third-Saturday event at Limahuli Garden. Plants available for the first 40 participants—come early, supplies are limited. Please note: Our regular third-Saturday Grow Aloha event at the South Shore Visitor Center will still take place on November 15, where you can also adopt an ʻōhiʻa. This month’s Grow Aloha is sponsored by Southwest Airlines.
