The Kampong
Planters bring an added element of design to the landscape, define spaces, create focal points of interest and color, add height, and fill in spaces. As part of this event, you’ll learn how to design your very own containers using edible plants, as well as which container plants will grow best in your area. You’ll also learn lots of information for your next container DIY project including how to plant a pineapple top.
This event is partial lecture-style workshop, and will include some walking throughout the garden to collect plant cuttings to grow in your containers at home.
Rates are $2 off regular admission to the garden for non-members (please call for a reservation to receive discount). No cost for NTBG Members. For ages 12 and up.
