We are pleased to announce our 4th annual Plant Sale on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 4:00 pm- 6:00 pm. NTBG Members receive early entry from 3:00pm – 4:00pm.
**Please note face coverings are required.
This year’s plant sale will be larger than our sale last year. We will have some rare gingers available, a first-ever offering of grafted ‘Kampong Mauve’ Sugar Apple using budwood from our tree, crotons from our collections, and plants offered from the home gardens of Kampong volunteers and even the Director’s home garden. New for this year’s sale is a table of edible plants, including robust peppers, black pepper vines, Vanilla orchids, Papaya plants, and more. We will also have some rare aroids, ready-to-plant cuttings of our gorgeous ‘Bali Hai Gold’ Plumeria, and more. The sale is open to the public, so we encourage you to talk up the sale, get some rare plants, and take home some living mementos of The Kampong to plant in your own garden.
As an added bonus, all sales $200 and over will receive a FREE The Kampong, The Fairchilds’ Tropical Paradise Book by Bertram Zuckerman.
Info about the book can be found here: https://nationaltropicalbotanicalgarden.myshopify.com/…
Tickets are $10 per person. Please RSVP and purchase tickets online, please note members are always free!
If you would like to become a member please call 305-442-7169.
100% of the proceeds will benefit The Kampong and its care.
