Join us and explore the world!

The National Tropical Botanical Garden offers its Fellows the opportunity to travel to public and private gardens, and botanical hotspots around the globe through our Fellows Travel program. For over twenty years, the NTBG Fellows Travel Program has offered specialized, small group travel arranged just for us and hosted by NTBG staff.

Upcoming Trips: NTBG New York City Garden Tour: June 12 & 13, 2018

Dates: June 12 & 13, 2018
Cost: $780/per person.

New York City in June is bursting with bloom and exploding with summer activities. What better places to enjoy the Big Apple than at its renowned botanical, cultural and urban gardens?

National Tropical Botanical Garden supporters are invited on this exclusive trip led by Mike DeMotta, NTBG Curator of Living Collections and Horticulture. This not-to-be-missed trip features the one-time exhibit of Georgia O’Keeffe “Visions of Hawai‘i” at the New York Botanical Garden (NYBG).

NYBG and Brooklyn Botanical Garden (BBG) directors will lead private tours for NTBG trip members, highlighting special architectural features of the gardens as well as the phenomenal plant displays.

You’ll enjoy plated lunches at the gardens, and a special Welcome Dinner at the fabulous Brasserie Ruhlmann, an iconic restaurant paying homage to legendary French Art Deco designer Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann.
