To kick off the Festivals of Aloha Week in Hāna, Kahanu Garden & Preserve is excited to join the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority for the ʻAina X Kai Food Cook-off. Those who love the ʻUlu Cook-off will enjoy this expanded competition that will include ʻulu, kalo, poke, pohole, and maiʻa.
In addition to the competition, the farmers market will feature a variety of local vendor booths, live music, community organizations, and cultural activities. All proceeds will support the cook-off category winners. This event is presented in partnership with Hāna Herbs & Flowers, Kīpahulu ‘Ohana, Captain Sam’s, and Mahele Farm.
