Free Weekly Hula Shows

Thursdays at the South Shore Visitors Center
Thursday, December 26, 2019 – 2:00pm

National Tropical Botanical Garden invites you to experience a traditional hula show by Kauai’s award-winning Halau Ka Lei Mokihana o Leinaala every Thursday at the South Shore Visitors Center in Poipu from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Come see this traditional show highlighting the wahi pane (sacred places) of Kauai along with intriguing stories of our Hawaiian people, their connection to and dependence on plants both wild and cultivated.

The hula shows are free to attend and visitors are invited to browse the gift shop, register for a garden tour, or make a donation to support critical plant conservation and research efforts at NTBG.

NTBG is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and preserving tropical plants through research, conservation, and education. Our network of botanical gardens, research centers, and preserves is located throughout Hawaii and in Miami, Florida.
