Locality:
National Tropical Botanical Garden in Lawai Valley, McBryde Garden, road leading down from headquarters, near lookout.
Plant Description:
Young tree 5 m, stem wood brittle. Leaves discolorous, costa and veins orange tinged below. Calyx orange-brown, liquid-filled pre-anthesis; corolla pale orange-yellow. Flowering and setting seed, naturalized locally.
Habitat:
Secondary shrubland on hillside.
Associated Species:
W/ Leucaena leucocephala, Szyzgium cumini, Schinus, Spathodea, Justicea.
