Plant Description:
smal population along running drainage just west of West Wailua nui and below fenceline, leaves with purple-tinged prickles, corolla white with purple pin-stripe, calyx light green, ca 10 plants with C. copelandii
Habitat:
Metrosideros-Cheirodendron-Dicranopteris montane wet forest.
Associated Species:
with Clermontia arborea, Coprosma spp, Kadua affinis, Perrottetia, Peperomia spp, Cyrtandra spp, Myrsine spp, Pipturus albidus, with rich moss and fern understory.
