Description:
This hybrid is derived from a cross between Erythrina crista-galli and Erythrina fusca made by David
Neill at the National Tropical Botanical Garden. It is described and beautifully illustrated as a watercolor paining by Geraldine King Tam in the book "Paradisus: Hawaiian Plant Watercolors" published by the Honolulu Academy of Arts (1998). It is a sterile hybrid with abundant, showy flowers and produces messy no fruit or seed.

Geographic Distribution:
Known only from cultivation.
