Description:
This shrub has leaves (~4 cm long) made up of many small (~4 mm long) sword-shaped leaflets. Individual flowers are quite small which stamens and carpels that stick out of the petals.
Clusters of these flowers give the plant a pom-pom look. The fruit is a brown sickle-shaped seed pod, about 4-6 cm long and 1 cm wide, containing 15-20 seeds.

Geographic Distribution:
Geographic Distribution: This plant is endemic to the Comoros and Mascarene islands, where it’s found in dry hillsides up to 1000 meters.

Scientific Research:
There are only six species in this genus, all are found in Madagascar, the Commoros and Mascarene Islands.
