Cacao to Chocolate: A Workshop in Chocolate Making
Register by August 1, 2007
When: Friday, August 17 12:30-4:30 p.m.
Where: McBryde Garden, Southshore Kaua`i
What if chocolate could grow on trees? Sounds too good (or delicious) to be true? Think again. An important ingredient used to make chocolate DOES GROW ON TREES -- the cacao bean. We will guide you through the process of producing chocolate from the cacao bean, the end result...a sweet reward.
Volunteer Project: We will tend to ethnobotanical plants (that play significant roles in Hawaiian culture) in the Canoe Garden from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
