The purpose of the Breadfruit Institute is to promote the study and use of breadfruit for food and reforestation. The Institute will serve as an international center for breadfruit conservation, research, and information resources. Print publications, a breadfruit bibliography, a comprehensive catalog of the breadfruit collection including detailed descriptions and information about each variety, photographs, and information on ethnobotany, horticultural and cultural practices, nutritional data, propagation methods, conservation issues, recipes, and more, will be available.
