Geographic Origin of Accession: Cook Islands
Locality: Aitu, Rarotonga
Notes: Introduced to Aitu in the 1940s from Rarotonga. Name means this is a variety from the island of Niue. Fruit available year round, heaviest in August-September. Leaf is similar to Paea but the fruit cooks more quickly and is smoother textured.
