Other Names: Lemai
Notes: There are two types of seedless breadfruit, a large rough, oval fruit is common and found in the forest with the wild "dugdug." The Japanese may have introduced it into the Marianas from Yap; a few trees are found planted around villages or farms. The smooth-skinned round fruit was introduced to Rota 10 years ago from Saipan (where it?s been for 40-80 years).
